This is the famous Manneken Pis, in English something like “boy who pees”. It has under 23 inches tall and it’s installed near the Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium. The story of this piss boy is very confused, each one says a different thing about the origin and the reason of its existence. But, in fact, it has been there for centuries and the tourists love it. A photo without a lot of people in the background is a rarity. This photo, for example, was taken at 7 o’clock and in a hurry, because a group of Asian tourists with cameras in their hands and crazy for photos was arriving. Sometimes they put a costume on the boy. The day before my visit, for example, it was dressed in a typical Peruvian outfit.
